This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to everyone who visits assoslivia.com or contacts us. The Turkish version is the legally binding text.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Assos Livia Hotel (the “Hotel”) as data controller.

2. What we process
- Identity and contact details: name, phone number, e‑mail address.
- Request details: check‑in and check‑out dates, number of guests, room preference and any note.
- Security logs: technical records such as IP address, browser type and time of access when you visit the site.
About the booking form: the form does not store your details on our servers. It opens WhatsApp on your device with a prepared message, which you send yourself. Your details reach the Hotel only if you send that message.
3. Why we process it
- To answer your booking request and share availability and rates,
- To plan your stay and stay in touch with you,
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse,
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. Legal grounds
- Art. 5/2(c) — necessary for entering into or performing a contract (your request and stay),
- Art. 5/2(ç) — necessary to comply with a legal obligation (for example guest registration),
- Art. 5/2(f) — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We therefore do not ask for your separate explicit consent.
5. Who we share it with
In Türkiye: authorised public bodies, only where the law requires it.
Abroad: the servers of the following providers may be located outside Türkiye. Transfers are made in line with Article 9 of the KVKK.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — when you choose to send your request via WhatsApp.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and security of the site; technical traffic logs.
- Google LLC — through the Google Maps content, which loads only if you allow it in the cookie banner.
6. How long we keep it
Requests that do not turn into a stay are deleted within one year at the latest. Records relating to stays are kept for the periods required by tax and accommodation law, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask the Hotel to:
- tell you whether your data is processed and give you information about it,
- tell you the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- tell you the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad,
- correct incomplete or inaccurate data,
- delete or destroy it under Article 7,
- notify third parties of any correction or deletion,
- object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
- compensate damage caused by unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
Send your request in writing to the address above, or by e‑mail to liviaotel@gmail.com from the address you previously shared with us. We answer free of charge within 30 days.
9. Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site uses no advertising, marketing or tracking analytics cookies.
- Strictly necessary: security cookies our hosting provider Cloudflare may set to protect the site, and the admin panel session cookie used only by Hotel staff. No consent is required.
- Visit statistics: we may count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
- Third‑party content (consent‑based): the Google Maps content in the Location section uses Google's cookies and sends your IP address to Google, so it loads only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you reject, you see a link to Google Maps instead. See the Google Privacy Policy.
You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored only in your browser. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
